Hay i know you likely all washed up in this grand conquest for a perfect game your making for yourselfs...... and the choosen few (just thinking about how many people will try to play a free game perhaps youll work out how to make every one a host if thats at all possable, you know like a file shearing thing. Is it me or are these really long brackets). BUT PLEASE ON YOUR MAIN PAGE ITS TIME YOU GAVE US SOME DETAILS ON THE TEAM!   :] I.E. hi we are canadain or turkys with pink pokadots or something.

The team ranges in age from 16 to 33 and in location from Perth, Australia to Newfoundland to Brazil to Italy.  No people in Asia on the team yet, for some reason.  One female; the rest are male.

The people on the team are all very different from one another.  What we all share is an ability to speak English and a great desire to see something like this game exist.  We all want to play it, so we have to build it, and we are dedicated a good part of our lives to making it happen.

Who started the work on Planeshift?

Talad was the person who started it, I believe, and he is still the director of the project.  It\'s earliest incarnation started in 1990, believe it or not and this version (3d mmorpg) was started in around September of 2001.

Boonet told me yesterday in IRC that the PlaneShift RPG is about 8 years old, started as a text/2d MUD, and him knowing Talad personally, i would trust his judgement

but erhm.. its pretty cool that the idea for planeshift is allready 8 years old.. however i wonder what they did in the first years.. because most of the info about planeshift now is of the last few years..
