I don\'t know what\'s wrong with it. This happens:
alexcpu@Alex planeshift $ ./updater -auto
Warning, can\'t find paths for win or mac or linux updater application! (Server only)
Critical files (
) not found (Server only)
NOTIFY: psUpdaterEngine initialized.
Downloading registry...
I notice a small blip on my network meter (about 1.7kb) when Downloading registy appears, then absolutly nothing happens.
Anyone got any suggestions why?
[EDIT]
ok the error has just got longer, this has been added, which is really wierd because I can download the repository file as it is given in the error message.
Server error: Error while downloading: transfer closed with 592758 bytes remaining to read, file
http://psteam:p1ane@laanx.fragnetics.com/updater_hidden/repository.zip
(200)
Couldn\'t connect to mirror Laanx!
Ran out of mirrors!
Couldn\'t download updater registry from server!

I believe that those warnings are normal, but the error is not. I would edit your updaterconfig.xml following one of the build guides at laanx.fragnetics.com and try runnning the updater again.

You can use the Java updater found in
this thread
(in step 3(a) ) if you want. Ignore all the Mac-specific stuff and just grab the updater. If you have any questions, PM me (you\'ll need the Java JRE from
Sun
if you don\'t already have it).
