PlaneShift_CBV0.3.010 wont delete from my desktop
« on: June 07, 2005, 11:25:00 pm »
It says it is being used by another program or person , close any programs that might be running this. I am unable to delete it, and it\'s really annoying, can anyone help me? Like give good advice that works?

Check in the file\'s properties to see if it\'s write-protected for some reason.  If that doesn\'t work, something stupid is going on.  Reboot, then smash F8 allot until you get the boot menu.  (assuming you\'re running Windows)  Choose safe mode, then go in and delete it there.

Do you mean safe mode, itself, didn\'t work, or that it wouldn\'t delete in safe mode?

Did you check for read-only status in the file\'s properties?
