What is the best weapon?

You know, a lot of people wonder which weapon to chose. I know it\'s a matter of oppinion, but I ask for the general public\'s oppinion. From there, I can make a chart and post it.

Please list what you think of a good weapon and why. (be specific-don\'t say just sword. say what kind of sword.)

But really, if you havn\'t noticed PS is still a beta of the alpha. You can\'t expect much from it, like the difference of an axe and sword.

Really, I only wanted some oppinions and not exactly the \"it depends on what you want\" thing. Please, for future, just give your oppinion(s) and not leave it up to me.

Sabres and falchions are the most popular.  (I use sabers myself)  Claymores are good heavy hitters, but they\'re very slow.  (and need 80 strength to lift...)  Though, I know quite a few people that prefer broad swords.  (slightly slower than the first 2 listed, but slightly higher damage)  Honestly , the choice is yours.  The differences are not drastic.

Silver Falchions, you cant buy these, so theyre very rare right now many people used to have them so i could auction the two i have for a lot :p

no, not even for myself, 1 because im not that kind of GM and 2. a GM doesnt need or want them

Silver Falchions are definitely the way forward... Steel ones aren\'t too bad as well.

But I might be in the market for longswords...how are they for fighting?
