Trainer screen - money?
« on: June 08, 2005, 07:28:12 pm »
Just a small suggestion, but when training trough npc it would be nice to see the amount of money and probably the cost of training too.

Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I agree.  Even if we know what the stuff costs, it would be nice to actually have it said somewhere when you are buying it.  Besides, what person would agree to buy something blindly without knowing the price?

I\'m sure this has long since been thought of, though.  I would expect to see it at some point.

I\'m not so much concerned about the \"Am I buying training\" aspect  It would really stink if we needed to confirm a dialog box each time we bought one unit of training, and we do get a confirmation anyhow, in the system section of the communications box.  That\'s enough for me.

Now, what I\'d really like would be another bar, representing the ammount of money you had, that would serve to answer the question: \"If I start training my $SKILL, do I have enough tria to get all the way to the next level?\"

We already have an indicator for Progress Points, I\'d just like to see one for money as well.

I find it unrealistic to pay \"points\" for training, in a Medieval time, if you wanted to learn how to fight, you wouldn\'t hand over some points and have you take lessons, it would be money (I know it was nothing like that, but just an example)

but if you want people to strive for a higher level you have to make them earn points to spend on training or ppl will just buy loads of trainin 1 after the other.
