Lag... can't move. No sound either

Is it normal to lag till u can hardly move? or is it some hardware problems i have....
i have no sound either pls help......

ok me get it now.... nvm, still wondering a bit about the lag part though.....

is the game actually on? are people actually out there killing monsters and stuff already? or is everyone just currently waiting?

look around on these forums and you\'ll notice that this game isin\'t even into alpha stage yet.  All that is out is a tech demo showing what they have finished of the system so far

To get sound:

You have to open up notepad, open file, and go to the the PlaneShift main directory. Make sure at the bottom it says \'all files\' and then open psclient.cfg and then look for this:

;Sound renderer
;System.PlugIns.iSoundRender = crystalspace.sound.render.software

Delete the \';\' (semi-colon) at the begining of the line and save. Now open PlaneShift and you should hear music.
