whether BISM is better than a guild is all dependent on the person, and what they want out of the game. I personally love guilds (thus why i am leading one), i feel they bring a necessary essence of team work and comeraderie, where the BISM is about independence and self preservation. Also, with a guild, you have a better chance of getting really good items, and making major accomplishments in the game, but in BISM you get more money, once again its all about personal preference.

Yes Cthulu is right, whether you like the BISM or not is really dependent on what type of person you are

although The BISM is whatever you want it to be, I have some people who are treating it as their guild, and making the most of it, and then I have people who just want some extra money, or just people who dont want much responsibilty but want to belong to something

so it really works out to whatever you make of it, as long as your willing to do that
