To show that you have spent some time exploring seems to work, but how does having skill in weapons show that one has been RPing? :P

If someone hasn\'t been in the game long enough to aquire at least some weapons, tria, and training - then chances are they haven\'t been in the game long enough to get into the RP swing of things.

Not necessarily, as skills don\'t imply length of playtime at all. There are those who don\'t train much but roleplay heavily, or train only their main stats, such as Endurance, Agility, etc. I think you need another way of determining who has been here long enough to suit you. I\'d suggest just asking, having a certain required in-game time before allowing someone to join, or having a sort of quiz on the basics of Planeshift. Once again though, skills are a bad way of determining this.

I agree with you, however:

1.  We aren\'t opposed to taking in players who are still new to the city.

2.  We are a guild of \"fighters\" - some have called us \"killers\", buy we are more accurately a collection of mercenaries, ronins, hunters, warriors, etc.

3.  Sometimes it\'s hard to determine if a person is very \"new\" or not.  Their level of training is a quick and easy hint at an answer.

We aren\'t unwilling to help train people and tell them the ins and outs of the environment.  However, it isn\'t our primary mission.  To me, we\'re a collection of like minded individuals, and I invite people into the guild accordingly.  That\'s just my opinion though.  It is Karsier\'s guild afterall.

I understand perfectly now, it was just your phrasing in your previous posts that prompted me to ask further :)

Sure thing.  I don\'t think we have anything against answering questions about ourselves.... especially when it seems that so many people are so intent on spreading vile lies about us.

I have no idea who would care to spread lies about your guild...

It\'s great to have a new evil guild around. Try not to be too paranoid and reckless and, who knows, maybe you\'ll have the honor to fight alongside the Dark Empire one of these days.
However I doubt that greatly. Am-Heh\'s disciples are bound to be as he is, heh...
Good luck anyway.

Does going to war with The Dragon Council sound reckless enough?

Not much. It just sounds a bit paranoid. It looks a little like irrational hostility; going to war, for no apparent reason, with a strange council which simply idolatrizes beings alien to Yliakun.

Yes. Nothing is. Everything has its logic.
Even defying the will of Her Magesty, Empress of the Dark Empire, for hers shall be Yliakum and its people, through the oaths of the frighten servants or the deaths of the foolish opposers.

You mention as a requirement that an individual who has joined your guild must have two weapons equipt at all times, eventually not everyone is going to be able to equip two weapons and it would not be feasible for magic users to do so.

And I dont quite understand the part about asking for permission to leave the guild.  Im not sure how well that will work :).

well, I just said in our rules that they MUST have two blades, not technicaly wielding them at all times, only in fights and all.. that kind of stuff. And I have magic users in my guild and they have two blades as well, for close combat, plus, there are ALOT of magic users who uses swords too.

about leaving the guild, I like to know whats going on ofcourse, thats why I want to be informed if they are leaving, although, you are right, this system doesnt work for all members, only some, still, it works in some way...

I just mean, after the wipe or even further off when more things are implemented, magic users will either not have or want dual Weild.  There money will be spent on the Ways and maybe even on defense or agility.  I guess it all depends on how much time you can play or whatever.

we\'re not implrementing things on the guild that has not been implemented yet in the whole game, makes things easier for us, why would be implement things in TBoA that isnt on the game yet? not much sense in that really, TBoA will just adjust as the game progresses
