I hope you know ;)

Hey all.

I need a program to rec the pc desktop with. More accurate, I want to do a \"slideshow\" of a few pictures (with some effects between the pics would be nice), and if possible to add a song on the background. If you don\'t know about one, at least one which can rec the desktop would be ok.

I\'m making a short \"movie\" with every person in our class, and it would be interesting to make something nice.

Err, yep, I need it fast. This means today. :(

 Thanks,
 Annah.

PS - Doesn\'t matter if the program is freeware or it costs.

 :)

If you can find a Mac anywhere nearby, that sort of stuff is built-in and easy to use as well. If not, I\'d check out http://www.versiontracker.com and http://www.download.com . Good luck!

So you wanna \"record\" whats happening on your desktop...I always use Hypercam for that .

And for adding cool effects to your video try Studio 9 .

I would certainly recommend OpenOffice Impress.  free and works great, I\'ve used it a few times in presentations.

http://www.openoffice.org

Download the windows (or what ever you\'re on) version, and there should be this one program, \"presentation\", which is used to create slideshows.

Even if you find a better program, still download openoffice, it\'s a free and more powerful alternative to M$ Office.
