and I thought mine was obsolete:

Titanium G4 667
512 RAM
32 MB Graphics

And for me it\'s very slow. I would recommend buying more RAM if possible and perhaps a new video card.

Right, here are some things you can try:

1.) Open planeshift.cfg in textedit. Change two things so they look like this:
; Screen depth (currently supports 8, 15, 16, and 32 bits, NO 24 bits!)
Video.ScreenDepth = 16

and

; Use full-screen mode if available
Video.FullScreen = false

2.) In game, turn all fading windows off by right-clicking on a window and setting it to no fading

3.) Disable all sounds (do this in-game in options)

4.) Also in-game in options under graphics lower the distance to even as much as 30 (this is the distance away from you that objects are shown)

5.) Finally, run camera in third person follow or first person.

Also, stay as much as you can out of Hydlaa plaza, it\'s slow for most people in there.

Hope this helps, good luck

You may want to use adaptive distancing. It works very well for me.

See the Guide, after the final step in basic setup. There should be a link there.
