The message means that either your graphics card does not provide for hardware acceleration, or that there is no (proper) driver installed to enable use of it.

Thus, you must install / update your graphics and DirectX drivers to the latest versions, or, if your hardware doesn\'t supposrt 3d acceleration, buy a decent graphics card that does.

Without hardware graphics acceleration, the CPU of your system must do all graphics work, which will severely reduce your computers speed when in PS.

Did you install the nvidia drivers?  If not, that would certainly help.

PS uses OpenGL, lineage may default to 3dFX or something else. Therefore, if your drivers are not set up properly to support / enable OpenGL, LII may work while PS will fail.

Also, OpenGL does not equal OpenGL: there have been different versions, and PS requires a recent (or even the most recent) version or OpenGL, whereas LII might not. Thus, you need to make sure your drivers are up to date.
