kran birth

forgive me if i\'m being overly noobish, but i searched
pretty hard and couldn\'t find anything on this, and i
didn\'t see it in the guide, but anyway, i am curious
 about how krans are born, and what they look like in their youth. i guess people don\'t really know alot about
krans other than what\'s in the guide, so i guess i won\'t
get any sure facts, but that\'s ok. i just want enough information to help me roleplay with my future kran
character, so just everyone\'s own opinion will do fine.
oh yeah, just in case you misunderstand, i\'m not talking about how kran\'s in general first came into yliakum (created by talad) but how each individual is
actually born.  anyway, this is all i have found so far:

from the guide:

ok i take this to mean that they do reproduce
somewhat similarily to the other races, but different
enough to where they can\'t intermix...


and i would also know what you think young kran\'s look like... just miniature versions of adults? or different?

but anyway the focus of my question is how they are born, and i would just like all of your theories.

edit:
btw, if some of this stuff is in some of the roleplaying threads... well i\'m not gonna read through all eight million posts of roleplaying no matter how interesting they are. i don\'t have that kinda time.  plus, i want more than just one person\'s thoughts on it, i\'m shooting for more of a general consensus (spelling?)

That\'s strange. There was this annoying thread about it not to long ago that didn\'t want to go away but I can\'t find it either...

anyway to summerize the now non-existant post....

In my opinion Kran question will have to be addressed officially before PS goes beta. Why? Due to krans specific nature their character creation screen would have to be quite different. Do krans have parents? ...if no?...that bit of creation screen would have to be modified. How about their birth...if it\'s different then some of the stuff in char creation screen cannot apply.

I am not suggesting we solve these question here and now. I am just saying they will have to be addressed at some point.

For now we only agreed in another thread that you pronoun for a kran is...it...or just kran.

Well, first of all, Kran\'s don\'t have a gender so they can\'t do sexual reproduction.  Secondly, oviously they are not mammals so they don\'t give birth to live young.  They could come from eggs but that just sounds weird.  Budding wouldn\'t work either. (a baby coming out of his parent)  It couldn\'t happen magically because Krans can\'t do magic. (unless someone does it for them)

So all I have done is eliminated all the impossible (or improbable) chances.  I can\'t think of any other way for this to work.

How about if two Kran, picking two here because the character creation screen does give you a mother and father which probably should change, want offspring, they pray to Talad to create them a child? I am also assuming Kran do grow up again based on the character creation screen which lets you pick childhood experiences.

So basically two Kran can do a ritual of sorts to get a baby created by Talad, perhaps from both of their life energies.

Well, I suppose they could pray, but this sounds like Dumbo.  Babies falling from the sky.  But Krans can\'t have a father and a mother.  This should be changed because they have no gender.

 That only says what happened when Talad created when he created them, and that their reproduction system doesn\'t work on other species.

Well, I have posted a thread about Kran Reproduction that some time ago... which is probably the one Efflixi is referring to so charmingly... ;)
That contains my idea for that, anyway.
