The collected works of UtM.

Update. 2/16/06

As you all may have noticed, I write things. A few people have asked me what else I have written in PS and I don\'t wish to repeat all the links. Included a short sum of each.

First up:

Chain of Souls More will be added upon my return. This story is being edited right now.
This is the first story I have written in over, let\'s say 13 years. So it means a lot to me to hear what you think of it. It is also the first multi-chapter story I have ever written. Since we are on firsts, it was the first story of mine to have more than two characters, dynamic chars, female chars, dwarves, elves, actually all of the races, \'gods\', love, and more than a shallow plot. But most importantly, it is the first story I wrote after I gave up writing. Thank Moogie for showing me the way back.

The summary: 36000+ words, 14+ chapters. Told in first person past tense. Finished, but being edited, rewritten,  and added to in parts. As many other tales start, this does not begin in Yliakum. It begins on a world under the moon. Don\'t let that fool you, though. I was not trying to shoe in a char from another game or story. It was created only for PS. The story starts happily, with your typical bumbling youth and the love of his life, Sabrene. As the Tavern intro indicates, the story quickly darkens. Well, not quick, exactly, it takes three chapters to get there. After that, it becomes a story of love, loss, and hope. There is very little fighting going on, as this story is about my characters, not their uber-powerfulness. There is also a great deal about my version of the Diaboli\'s troubled past, and how they came to be the way they are.

Chain of Souls II; Soul\'s Mirror
Part two of the series. 26800+ words, ten chapters written, ? planned. Told in third person limited omniscient (told from multiple PoVs, but never at the same time), past tense. This tale starts as the last one ends (from the ship, not the tavern). It contains many of the chars from CoS, but I can\'t tell who, as it would give away a lot if you haven\'t read CoS. All I will say, is that not everyone makes it to Soul\'s Mirror. New chars are and will be introduced and developed. This tale may have a lot of political intrigue, don\'t know yet. It is also the first time I have tried my hand at the female PoV, so it may not be as good. And as always in my CoS stories, it is about love, loss, and hope. Perhaps a little more hope this time.

Chain of Souls III; Path of Fate
Also part 2. 2400+ words, one chapter so far, ?? planned chapters. Told in third person limited omniscient, past tense. Yes, also part 2. This tale also starts at the end of CoS, paralleling Soul\'s Mirror at times. This tale involves only one of the chars from CoS, but in a twist, I decided to not tell it from that char\'s PoV. Instead, it will be told from other\'s PoV as the story passes through their lives. The only way you get to see the main char is through how others observe that char, and possibly a journal entry. Also, I will be including player characters at their requests. If you would like your character included, PM me. Just be noted, this tale takes place around ten years ago, so everyone\'s char will be ten years younger. This tale will be, by far, the darkest out of the three. I would like to tell you it is about love, loss, and hope, but I fear it has mostly only one of those three. However, it starts with a fish.

Chain of Souls IIII; ???? Oh yes, I barely started two and three, and I already think I will need a forth. I don\'t really know how it will be told, or how it will end, but it will start right after all three of the others. Yes, they will all end in that Tavern.

Now, on a happier note, The Sheeples.

The Art of Tripping This is how Arnigus Faymore came to be (the man who ran the Elections). He fights his way to the top, mustering all his skills. Beware the Sheeples.

Mogura fighting a...what?! By Arnigus Faymor A little parody involving Arnigus, Moogie, and a \'what?!\' ;)

I will eventually be writing more of the Sheeples\' adventures. Be afraid...be somewhat afraid.

This is self-explanatory: THE SIXTH EPOCH: NEW ORDER

Poems by me (and others)

Knocking A sad unfinished (as of now) poem.

Other random stuff and roleplay stories.

The Labyrinth (a parody) staring Moogie. Ok, I have to admit, this is pretty damn funny stuff. Long, but worth the read. :D

Kran can cook. A Planeshift cookbook.

Little Experiment 3 Well, what can I say? An RP thread that I completely took over and went a little nuts in. Not yet finished....though I am not sure -how- to finish it. :)

Songs echoing [tavern tales (tails?)] This is a very good RP session with one of my CoS characters and several very well written characters by other PS players. A dark tale, not for the the light of heart...

Yliakum Fables My first attempt at a fable. I will finish it someday.

The death of a poet
This is a story adapted from my first true RP ingame. It may not end here, as it may be contiued in sort of an in-game quest. Read it, it is good. :)
