I would like to apologise for the way I set out the Worst Guild Awards. I realise though my
intentions were to provide harmless entertainment, I did end up passing judgement on some listed guilds (and people) which were insults to them, no excuses made.
As part of the PS team it was definitely not a smart idea on my part, and I failed to effectively put the thread across in a neutral and truely harmless manner as was intended.
I want to say sorry to Black_Rose, if he still comes around, for calling him an idiot. At the time of writing I did not mean for this to be perceived as an actual insult, and more of a joking/cheeky comment.
Thank you to those who understood that the thread was meant to be fun and satirical, even though I did a very poor job of writing it in a way that would not insult those listed in the thread.
To those who were personally insulted, I again apologise for my wording. I really made a dog\'s dinner of it, eh?
In all truth I didn\'t think anyone would get so worked up about it, but on reveiwing it all from start to finish, I can see how it could easily cause someone to be upset and feel personally attacked. Coming from a moderator and a developer, even more so.
In light of all this, I will be steering clear of posting anything that may potentially distress or anger any forum posters. My opinions on guilds, wishlist threads etc is really not needed, so I will stick with helping newbies and general moderation.
