This is bound to either crash someone\'s client a few times, or seriously slow down the performance of their computer. This is why doing such things in easily accessible public places is a bad idea, and I certainly wouldn\'t recommend it again. There is indeed a \"no dropping items to decorate the map\" rule, but I think it\'s the public place that really drives this home. Try the hills next time, if you must :)

Good Job! Looks great!
At least one person is actually testing the limits of the machine!  If it does crash, then we will know what causes the sever or clients to crash.  I hope more players follow your example untill such time as the developers tell you not to.

That was a giant leap of logic, I know. I\'m very proud of you :P

Is it not obvious that there are many different reasons for crashes? That reads as if you said \"If the server or clients will crash because of carrots, then we know the server or clients crashed because of carrots.\"

Did I not mention a no-decorating-the-map rule? I\'m 100% certain it was in the official documents about the time CB came out, and I\'m trying to find it as I type. And as you can see from the chat window in the screenshots, at least one player was already finding the amount of carrots hard to deal with on his or her machine. Actions such as these make it hard for others to enjoy the game. I could understand it for testing purposes, but I don\'t think any more testing of this is necessary - we pretty much know what happens with such an overabundance of objects in one area.

if i had been logged on i definitely would not have been able to play. actually, i already have so much lag that i can\'t play, so this wouldn\'t have really mattered...
still, i don\'t think this is very considerate of other players.

I technically \"decorate the map\" when I drop stuff in the plaza.  I drop stuff which new people benifet from though..... mushrooms, tria, and fish, and in rare cases cheeper pieces of equipment.

Carrots, though?  And near the temple?  You can\'t sell those for anything, and the temple is out of the way should anyone decide to pick them up.

Dropping items for newbies is one thing; dropping two thousand items in the laggiest place in the entire game is not smart. The rule of \'no dropping items to decorate maps\' was created for a reason, and no, it isn\'t because we don\'t like the decorations. It\'s because this stuff happened in MB, and we already know that it causes lag and client crashes. So, please, don\'t do it again in such a populated area, or to such a large scale.

i remember that ive read something in a text about planeshift that people that trow garbage on the ground get killed or something like that. Cant realy remember, but it was in the same article that had something about what happens to the people that die.

Ah no, i think you will get killed if you trow garbage in the big sea. Or not?
