Error message

Ive been having a problem with planeshift as you might guess. As I am trying to load the game I recieve a message saying

Something unexpected happened in PlaneShift: Crystal Blue Exception at address: 7C00724A, Exception code: C0000005

And then asks me if I would like to save a diagnostic file.

I have reinstalled and reupdated twice to no avail. I would appreciate it if somone could help me or direct me to someone who can, I also have a screenshot of the error message I could email to anyone who needed to see it.

Please help me so I can play this game!

OS is windows XP, and the specs are pretty low. Pentium 4 at 2.8 with 256 RAM and a stock onboard 3D graphics card (Intel extreme i think). I turned down the resolution in the setup menu.

At what point did the crash occur: loading the game world or loading the game overall?

Also, your RAM is pretty low. That might be part of the problem.

During loading. I have looked at the bug reports and found people having the same problem but it was said that with the new version it would be fixed. And I do not believe they all had low RAM.

Well, the RAM you have is surely little.

Anyway, have you tried to disable the sound in the setup?

Can you try to see what happens in the console (the \"dos\" window that runs at the same time that you run the client?), if there is some specific message or nothing particular?

I owe you my thanks Nilrem, although now I have to play with no sound. I will report this, maybe in the next patch it will be fixed, for now Im going to try and figure out what to do now that im playing my first mmorpg.

No AryHann. I can see youre post, so it\'s not invisible.  :P
But how do you get transparent? I wanna try. Can bee fun when i going to \"systemet\" (it\'s where you buy alcoholic in sweden) tommorow.

I would prefer to be invisible when I go to ICA ;D (Swedish chain of supermarkets).

anyway, well, I guess that it takes not so much concentration..
