Audio Problems

I tried all the availiable option for sound but it dont work, i get a message that no sound device is found on the software mode and the following message with OpenAl selected \"WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.sound.render.openal\'\".

I am using Ubuntu/Hoary and already tried the tips here in the Forum.

I hope  someone can help.

Sound is borked atm.
I have it turned off. Software works, but crashes the game.

Do you have OpenAL installed?
