Spell power
« on: June 26, 2005, 12:08:58 am »
I noticed that the damage done by the Flame Burst spell
at 50% spell power is same as the damage done at 0%.
Why is that?Is that some kind of problem,or it is very hard for me to believe that taht 0%and 50% does same damage.

It depends on what spell and how much you have in the way- but the realm one(aka all we have) spells are not influneced much by spell power when you have little experence. You are pumping more mana into something you can barelly understand, of course it is more likely to fail with little benifit.

In conclusion, there is little you can do with spell power right now  ?(

so how does the mental stats like(Intelligence,Will etc)

helps in increasing the damage done by a spell.

I have level 30 in Crystal Way and pumping up spell power does not change anything.  The spell Summon Missile will take the same mana, do the exact same damage and the only thing that changes is the chance of failure.  I have a Charisma of 66, would I need to boost this or another mental stat like Intelligence or Willpower to be able to make use of spell power more effectively?
