communicating w/ creatures

Hello everyone!
I need some help. Right now i was playng PS when i went to Joyses for the first time and saw the letters \"Communicating With Creatures.\" Im getting really frustrated because i cant find out what\'s it for.
Can n-e one help me out?

Pretz89, it was used to understand a creature that gave a quest (when they were half working)

Last I heard that quest is still available technically but it is bugged as well and can\'t be completed.

ive heard about this critter too, but i never met it. it would be fun to speak the languages of other creatures, and using emotes for sign language.
I think that all quests are available, just not finishable
