start by reading the players guide.

could be, if you are using windows there is a shortcut in the start menu folder.

You find the guide both available from your start menu (start->programs-> Planeshift Crystal Blue -> Player guide ) or http://www.planeshift.it/guide/index.html

You should find the link for the client (the program you use for playing) in the start menu, same path (with the exception of the end) of the player guide.

well im going to figure you installed the game after you downloaded the installer and that you are using microsoft windows xp/2000/etc.

basically-    start/programs/Planeshift Crystal Blue/Planeshift - Tech Demo

You will need to run the updater if you have not already done so, and possibly lower some of the graphical and/or sound settings if you have an older computer (i.e. one that has 256 Megs of RAM like mine )
