nolightmapping not workin fully
« on: July 03, 2005, 03:13:05 pm »
Iv used nolightmapping to lighten up general areas that are black but although most is seeable there are still black objects like rocks and trees that look out of place badly. Why doesnt it lighten up everything.
Help please.

That\'s exactly what -nolightmapping does- it doesn\'t bother to load more lights, it just goes with the defualt for the object. which for most of them is pretty bright, but there are a lot of objects that have no light themselves, or where colored for special effects. There isn\'t a fully implimented less-lighting setting yet, this is just a teaser, but good for lowering the strain on your system.

Some objects may be black because of actual problems with the map file - nolightmapping is really a hack to get around brightness problems, so don\'t expect anything to be pretty.
