yes............. downloaded 1% of the program in around 10 minutes.... only 21 hours and 20 minutes to go....yesterday i tried the same thing but your server did not like me to be that slow and it was reset

Well, if you have been able to download your copy.. then, I guess you can install it, right?

i think i cxan not find it on my pc i can create an account and have done that but no links to the game to be found anywhere

You are still trying to download it from BitTorrent, or not?
If yes, use the search function of Windows, (start->search) for finding something with \"planeshift\" in the name. If you find an .exe file then you have your \"installer\", that is what you need to double click for installing PS on your computer.

I really want to help, but every message I am getting more and more confused.

Ok, please, listen to me here.

Planeshift is a 3d game with good graphics, such good graphics that the game can\'t be run in a mere web browser, it has to have its own specific client.

Now, that client comes with all the required images and the like in it, so the download is rather large.

You can\'t click a link and start playing a game like this, it needs a download, and it can\'t get much more user friendly than it is I\'m sorry, you will just have to understand that you need to download the entire thing. There is nothing that you can do about it, there is nothing the devs can do about it, there is no avoiding it sorry.

What\'s on your desktop should be the bittorrent client, and the file that opens with that client to download the correct files from other users.

i think i do understand you are making a very good game with top grafics.. how ever i can not bring up the patience to spent 21 hours to try to download what i need to play your game and as such have decided that your game is not for me i am sorry for all the problems i have caused to you and your helpfull ppl

Man, I have read this entire topic, but I still don\'t know what your exact problem is. Apparently is too hard for you to get it dowloaded using bittorrent, well, I think you don\'t even have the bittorrent client, or have you? On the dowloads page you see where you can download the bittorrent client, then you can download PS. And if you use that mirror, that\'s also good. But why don\'t you want to download for 21 hours? It\'s not you who\'s downloading it, it\'s your computer, you don\'t have to wait behind your pc all the time. Just continue living your life and come back after a day and it will be downloaded! And if you don\'t have the \"patience\" to dowload PS, than you can better trash your internet connection

Also, I don\'t believe that you really tried 4 hours to download PS. Even my noob sister would\'ve been able to download PS within 10 minutes by simply following the instructions on the screen, reading some manuals and mere logic.

Step 1:

Click here to download PlaneShift: Crystal Blue - v. 0.3.010.

If you already have this file and know where it is on your computer, disregard this and continue to Step 2.

Choose where to save the file (desktop is preferred for easy location of the file in the future).


Step 2:

When the download is done, find the file on the desktop or whereever you chose to save it ( it is called \"PlaneShift_CBV0.3.010.exe\" - if you can\'t find the file, just put that filename into the search function in Windows ( Start Menu > Search )) and doubleclick it.

This will launch the installer and give you a very easy to understand walkthrough if you just bother to read the text which gets displayed on the screen.

When the game is installing ( it says that it is copying a lot of files, and it shows a lot of %\'s ), wait for it to finish. This should take a few minutes.


Step 3:

When the installer is done and you have closed it down, open up your start menu, go into Programs, and find the PlaneShift Crystal Blue folder, and in there, you run the one called \"PlaneShift Updater\". This is a pretty much automated process once you click the \"Update\" button, and when this is finally done downloading the newest updates, you will be able to click a button that lets you run PlaneShift.


Step 4:

Enter your account informations in the two fields ( login is your email, password is the one you chose during account creation ). If you do not have an account, go make one here.


Step 5:

Enjoy.
