« on: July 04, 2005, 09:51:55 am »
hi, well, i dont know much about hardware and how it works, but mine doesnt work fine at the moment, and so ill try to get ur help, perhaps soemone have a good idea.

i have a Gforce FX 5600, with the latest drivers, new direct x, but if i start to play, there are serious errors on my screen, all characters and objetcs start to fall apart, difficult to explain, ill add a screenshot. nearly all new games i play make these problems after a few minutes. anyone has an idea what i can do against it? i would be glad to find a conclusion. thx

That, my friend, is a classic, textbook screenshot of a GeForce suffering a meltdown. The fact that it happens to all of your games after a few minutes of play leaves me without a shadow of a doubt.

I would strongly advise checking the condition of your PC\'s fans and heatsinks. Get some major cooling in there. Clear away any built up dust from the inside of your computer (with the power turned off beforehand, obviously).

Failing that, it\'s time to dig out the warranty and see if you\'re still liable for a replacement. ;)

lol ok thx.

i think ill check my coolers by a friend and clean up the damn thing. And if that doesnt work i think my graphic card has an error, doesnt it? well, that sucks, i hope i can figure out the problem lol. but it cant be a software problem u think?

btw, sometimes my cpu restart, i think also coz of the heat inside
