Yeah when i first saw that a while ago i was really freaked out.  However im quite proud of the fact i worked out how it worked without anyone helping me.

Thats wrong.

Any number minus the sum of its digits will be a multiple of 9.  Thus you notice every multiple of 9 on the chart will be the same symbol, the one that appears in the middle.

Uh hu? Which number? The only way it can get it wrong is if its a number less than 10.  Which is why is says any two digit number.
