I should be able to make that.

Well I think it\'s a moot point since the 29th of June was last month...

I\'ll be there if I won\'t have anything in RL that prevents it. Although I won\'t be telling any stories/poems etc. because I do suck in those, but I am a pretty good member of audience (I think..) ;)

Hmm...this is a good idea. Maybe the stand-up comedy performers could perform among the other performers and that way add variety in the performances?
And naturally the jokes should be PS related   ;)

Event report
« Reply #11 on: July 24, 2005, 05:24:43 am »
Many inhabitants impatiently awaited this event. Some of them arrived very early ((for the future: organizers, it is good idea to give link to this page: GMT))
The audience which gathered was quite large, as you can see on the picture:

The story telling started with the performance of Saba, the organizer. We heard about one of many uncommon incidents in her life.

Then we listened to Ganinos\' story, which was long, very interesting and climatic...

...then Verrliit presented her poem...

...after which Entamis sang a short song written by his friend.

Resekli summarized the story of his whole life (although some of us were not sure, if it was true, or fictitious)...

...and in the end we danced while Leonor played on his violin.

After all those exciting moments I felt sleepy, so I left quietly to take a nap. However I think, that the party was not over, maybe someone else will write short report, what I have missed.

Sorry I missed the event... no wait I\'m not. I don\'t really care. Personally I find long-winded stories endlessly boring and much prefer to live my life, than hear about how others lived theirs. I\'m sure all those of you who actually have no life enjoyed it quite a bit, though.

(The above is IC, not OOC. OOC it was a very good idea and I\'m glad it went well. Why am I explaining myself? Oh, that\'s right, it\'s because some moron would flame me if I didn\'t. Not that I mind, but I don\'t want to cause trouble with the moderators. The very fact that I have to explain myself shows how sad and pathetic these forums have become. *sigh*)

I really wanted to be there as well.  It looks like quite a few did not forget.  How was it?
