You people disappoint me very much. Discussing something you have no clue about... *Sigh*
I am absolutely thrilled to dissappoint you.
I think you\'ve misunderstood me. It\'s not the reveal-everything-ending that I was talking about, in fact I made no such mention. What I was talking about was the fact that this book was significantly more
lazy in it\'s plot development than any other so far. You don\'t really see Malfoy at all, nor Voldemort nor any glimpse of the plot. If you don\'t know what I mean, re-read the first book and compare the way they found out about the Stone, and tried to get it. This time, no one believed Harry and very little was done - zero advancement until the action packed, suspenseful and very well written end.
It\'s not without it\'s good parts, I very much enjoyed the explanations of how Riddle became Voldemort, and there are plenty of hooks left. I especially like how the whole dynamic has changed at the end of this book, and the next one is going to be very different indeed.
My complaint is that it was rushed, and lazy. A mediocre effort, when this book aught to have been the second best in the series, the top spot reserved for book seven.
