Hey yall i just registerd for the forums but i\'v bin playing planeshift for about 6 months now. i just wanted to know if anyone knows where the ore whent and if smithing will come soon???

Where the ore went? That depends on where you put it, doesn\'t it? No one on the forums quite knows the approximate date for anything - so \"when\" isn\'t a very good question.

I think they mean the fact that the mine no longer shows ?gold ore? as an NCP with it?s name displayed in red (I think it was red). Well the ore is still there and can be dug :) as for smiting and smelting I have no idea. :(

EDIT: The gold is there I just got some 5mins ago. try digging for longer or training in mining. It could be a bug just you are seeing but haven\'t seen it come up before.

So this means you can\'t smith right now, although I\'ve seen some \"facilities\" that is suitable for melting ore in Akkaio.

Are you absolutely sure? Maybe you\'re not searching at the correct spots. Did something specific lead you to believe that it was moved entirely?

How can they show you it is gone?  \"They\" cant show you its not there unless they show you every single spot in the Magic Shop area.  Gold ore used to be able to be dug anywhere in that area, then they narrowed it down to certain areas, maybe they\'ve just narrowed it down more / moved it.

gold IS still available.. i mined it today when someone said they were absolutely sure it wasn\'t there anymore.. i promise it is there. :)

Explore, if gold is gone in one area, it is probably not gone in all areas.  Besides exploring fill the spirit in a way that gold does not :)
