It\'s so amusing to watch all the RPGUBERALLES people get off on bragging about how much better they are than the poor noobs who run around the plaza not knowing what to do and not helping them in game unless they learn how to ask correctly so the RPGUBERALLES people can get their Advisormode points. I think there is nothing surprising in the wipe. The game is developed continously, sometimes \'resets\' are needed to clean the effects of bug or inbalance exploits.
As for people getting big amounts of starting money? It doesn\'t count until everyone gets enough.:) The main problem is that a new player cannot even get enough money to use their pps without playing very-very monotonously...
Though I do hope when the \'real\' game starts noone will get starting advantage.

Yay! another post about not spent PP\'s.
It will never happen there will be balance of PP\'s and trias to spent them. Simply because different people use trias for different purposes and in different quantity.
Solution is to edit current system so that it won\'t need PP\'s. there are multiple adventages of that.
Ask me if you need to know how.

What you can failure tommorow, failure today.

I agree with Nikodemus on this one, though. Down with progression points!

You will be very disappointed then - those who have played MB, will get their crystals changed to Trias in CB. And I don\'t even want to start discussing, about the next version of PS as it is so far away...

Kiramon: Is CB the real game? No, it is not even beta... They can have what they want. Or you can have what you want, seeing your post you are an a MB player.

Nikodemus: There is no need to have a balance between PPs and trias. Simply there should be more tria income sources, more npcs with drops other than the current few, more and more expensive items to spend trias on.

And this is what won\'t solve the problem.
Besides, this there is not enough money to spent not used PP\'s and there are loads of them isn\'t the main reason of my opinion. This what makes me worry is one can use PP\'s from smashing monsters with use of axe to train eg. herbalism.
Sure the sysytem with use of PP\'s can find a way to solve this problem, but i think system without them would solve more problems at once.
Also, \"more and more expensive items\" shouldn\'t be this what fixes attention of the mayority. It is in other games, but i hope PS will allow for more complex behaviour what will bring more life to gameplay.

I did play MB yes, very few knew me back then. And I never migrated my character so after wipe I start with 0 tria, which I actually don\'t care about - and what is the REAL game? just wondering ^^

Phinehas using the word patronizing to describe someone else. Interesting.  Your entire post consisting of patronizing someone you think is patronizing, and a me too response is what looks pathetic to this dwarf is what! And so there! Neener Neener Pumpkin Eater! LOL

Overlooking the importance to new PS players, Progression Points are the only visual marker or indicator of level in the game that the player has. Not much of one I agree, but at least it\'s something. What multiple advantages are there to editing the current system so that it doesn\'t need PP\'s?  Or were you just \"me tooing\" so it wouldn\'t look like some pathetic attempt to get the last word in?

I think Phinehas was being sarcastic about the PP and the Patronizing, and if he has the same opinion as another it is easier to say that isn\'t it?
