FAQ of technical problems, please read!

Hi, I was playing (lagging) PS for two days and afterwards tried updating my video drivers.. so now.. the game doesnt load.. I get the usual Initializing World thing.. I actually thought that it was acting like the first time thing, that I read about so much.. except that on the first try it took only 15 mins to start.. but after wards there was one time with it standing still for 30mins... but now.. I dont see any light indications that the computer is actually thinking.. it acts as if the game is already running.. and task manager says \'running\', could new drivers for GForce have such a power of destruction? maybe i should reinstall the game>? (didnt try this)

4. I can see the the chat menu but the background is the loading screen or is all black. Or I\'m zooming around in the air but I want to get back on the ground. What can I do?

First I\'d try typing, \'/spawn\' in the chat box. If this doesn\'t work reset PlaneShift. If you are still having problems restart your computer. And if the problem is still occuring post something on the message board and wait for a response.

I\'m having this problem, The game loads up, all all the GUI shows, but i still see the main loading screen.

I have also tryed all the suggested fixes (above in quote).

Just so you know the excate nature of things i\'ll list all I have done.
-Played PS perfectly fine for a few days.
-Then I install Cirys mods, and contiuned to play perfectly fine for a few days. (much more happly)
-Then the problem happed, so I ran the updater (overwriting all the files assioated with Cirys mods) and then reinstalled Cirys mods, and redid my settings, and the game worked fine after that.
-The next day (today) the problem started all over again.
-I followed all the directions in the quote above, and sadly none of them worked.

I would perfer not to do anouther update (overwritting all my settings) again.  Obviosly I will if i have to, but if you have anouther suggestion I would greatly apprecate it.

Well, I have installed PS.
In the screen that says \"Paneshift Setup\" it says \"Completed\"

What must I do after that to play?

I have created my character but when I upload I get a message that the server is not reachable. Anyone can help me here?

I can get the client to work up to \"Initializing World\", but wait, I\'m not going to ask why it takes forever.  I already read that it would take up to 2 hours.

So I wait for it to fix up the lighting and stuff, but after about a minute the music starts skipping and then I get an error that says-
\"psclient.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.\"
Then it asks if I want to send an error report to Microsoft, and I click Don\'t Send.  After I do that, my computer lags forever and then PlaneShift closes itself.

So does anyone know what the problem is? I\'ve been trying to play PS for about a year now (yes, a year e_e)and I\'ve switched from Windows 2000 to Windows XP (and it still won\'t work).  I would really like to play
