Deus Ex was great. I\'m really not sure what kind of fighting we should have. Anything is good, so long as it involves a good balance between player skill and character strength. I think leaning more toward a more Diablo-like system is likely a good idea as it means we don\'t need as high resolution on some checks, which saves some memory and bandwidth, and it\'s also less hampered by lag.

Man, I haven\'t played any of these games, ad they sound good. What if the combat style is like Freedom Force? That balances brute force and strategy pretty well, and it would help bring out the strengths and weaknesses in certain magic ways.

Revenant!! Go out and play Revenant!! It probably won\'t make as much lag as some of the other options and won\'t nearly be as boring a Diablo. It basiclly is like \"ctr+direction to do a dodge in that direction. alt+attack to do a combo. forward, forward alt+attack to do another combo.\" stuff like that. It\'s really fun. The moves are kindof limited, but so flexible that you can slur them together.

That sounds cool. I like Baraks idea, its basic, simple, and easy, yet it makes soo much of a differance. And you could balance stat raising with it. Has anyone ever been to Pheonixmudd.com? The battle system on that thing sucks. My Elven Cleric was wiped out by a slightly larger than usual spider, and barely survived a scrape with a hellish fluffy rabbit.

Am pretty sick of kill, kill, kill, gain stat.  And I\'m sick of produce x 2000, gain stat.  Kinda makes it painfully obvious what the game designers want you to do.

while you are waiting for ps

If you guys are looking for a game that pits gaming skill against gaming skill, you might like endlessages, it incorporates fps and rpg along with about 2000 people, really fun. It takes real skill (that finger switch skill), and isn\'t just about  higher lvl kicking low lvl ass, in fact its about killing monsters and maybe if your bored you\'ll go to a fight zone (ur whatever it was called, forgot) and battle someone. you try it, i played when it was free. I don\'t know about it now but it is a game that i would pay a few bucks to play, of course I\'d probable try and find a free dload cause 50 bucks for a copy is too much.

personaly i think they should have just went oneway or the other, a flat 50 dollars or $15 a month, they are just being to greedy to me.

anyway, here is the link:
endlessages.com, duh

That would be cool. But what I was trying to say is I don\'t want twitch gaming, just something that feels controllable. Sounds cool though. Actually it sounds like Morrowind with the 1st person reticule. I wonder why that isn\'t online yet? That would kick major dairy air.
