When i try to log on....

Time Of Test: 12:35pm
OS:Windows 98 plus
Processor:Pentium 2
RAM:366
VideoCard:3D Prophet 2MX
VideoCard Memory:32mb
PS Client Version: Alpah1.004
OpenGL or Safe Mode:Both
Description of the bug:When I make my char. everything is fine (its a little slow but whatever). Then when i try to connect, this is what happens:

Loading:
Loading basic textures
Initializing Character
Initializing GUI
Initializing World


Then it freezes, right there, as soon as it trys to initialize the world.....this happened yesterday when i tryed to play this game, The same exact problem..Also just to add a little more infromation to this, I downloaded this game yesterday, for the first time, and tryed to play it yesterday for the first time....

its just taking a long time to load, let it sit for a while and it will load PS

It can take several minutes ( although I have no solid numbers here ) to load for the first time.  It appears that the next times it is a little quicker to load.   As long as it does not crash outright then just let it run for a while.

The same things happens to me, but it doesnt freeze. A box pops up saying somthing went wrong and planetshift will have to close, and would i like to submit and error report, all that stuff. It gets to the world initiliazing then does the above. Also, I read the first post on this board, about Windows XP (which I have) but couldnt find what the post was talking about. Help please, the game looks really cool. :)

Yay!

The game works now, but is quite laggy, and dont see anyone in the game, ive maybe seen 2 people.....

What is there to do in this game so far?

And how do you get out that central area?

k, it works now. I didnt have to do anything with compatibility, i just re-installed it.

The game looked great! very very laggy though, but looked great! :D  :D

Well No body plays it because there is nothing to do If by center area you mean the town, you cant get out of it, May I remind you this is a tech demo, not part of the final game.

So then, there is really no point in playing it for now?

Also, How long untill it gets out of the \"tech\" demo, and we get to do stuff ?   :D

This game looks great, and i cant wait, but i dont want to just wander around very laggly (is that a word) doing nothing for now.... :(
