Well a gui translation is possible. I may attempt one in the future once my mandarin improves.

Babelfish is ok if you have absolutly no aptitude whatsoever for the language the person speaks.  The reason no one could help him before im gathering was because no one had the chinese fonts installed, unfortunatly, and so the chinese characters came up wrong.

hmm yeah asumed it was that.

Seen before with japanese that if you haven\'t installed the language it translates them to such \"letters\".

You can never be sure though unless you know what font to download and then seeing if it changes or not I guess :P
