the laanx graphs
« on: August 04, 2005, 12:43:06 am »
wow.  8o  they\'ve double the number of players on the server, around 3 am server local.

laanx.fragnetics.com

but, as i\'m looking at this stuff, most especially the chars and accounts graphs. should they really be on the same graph? leaving things aside right now we just after wipe. the diference between the two numbers felt a little bit great for presenting them on the same chart.
 if graphics space is limited may be presenting them with two separate scales on the same chart or something like that.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

The major discrepancy won\'t last long. I don\'t recall what the number of chars was before the wipe, but IIRC it was somewhere near the accounts figure, un the 80000s I think. So while initially the difference is high, as soon as players are let in again the figures will be way closer.

As for the graph size: rightclick->view image. They changed them to this size because it was initially eating up too much space on the page AFAICS.

Have a problem;

I tried before 2 get into the updater but then it crashed while updating or such... i had done the big update before that... and after that crash i couldn?t start the uploader again so i uninstalled it all and installed it again but now when i want 2 update it just says i can?t connect to mirror on fragnetic... does this have 2 do with the wipe and update or has this just happend me??

Someone?

Patience, patience!  I am just going to wait for a message on the main page  before attempting an update.  No use risking messing up the existing files just to be the first to make it ingame.  Heck, I might wait even longer than that, checking the forums to see if there turns out to be any problems which requires another update.  But that\'s just me.   :D

Hmm.. i see... but the thing is that i uninstalled the game and then installed it again and havn?t updated it since... so if the updated files isn?t saved elsewhere then i don?t have the update and still get mirror thing... oh well.. doesn?t matter now... just have 2 wait and see tomorrow i guess... By the way, my updater says updater 1.0.2.6... is that the latest??

Lol! Where did you get that idea from? Maybe, or even probably, yes, but nowhere near guaranteed!
