Where are the falchion dropping rats? I want to see a golden falchion, I wonder how it looks like

@ Sikarda - If you downloaded the big 3.010 version (I think 200mb+) then all you\'ll need to do is use the updater (which works already so download the updated files) then download the client (30mb) when Dfryer has got it ready.

Don\'t worry, you will know when it is done. If you look in past posts, there is usually a large postings of \"Thank You Thank You\" when it comes up. And dfryer, we are all eternally grateful to you...

i agree wrong forum.
i am on pc at moment you are not missing much.(my sons)
infact loads of server maintainance,fixes,tweaking,harder to get PP.
on bright side, loads more loot and most monsters drop.
gold ones look same as a normal Falchion but gold colour,slighty better hit,sells for more tria.

Ok, so I can update now using the updater in my PS folder? (this updater is the original one i recieved when I first went through the whole set-up and up-dating process, my client and updater both say 0.3.007 in the folder, but when starting up the PS app, it reads 0.3.010 and it works sweet as), then just standby for the client?

Yeah, just run the updater and it should get all the updated files. Do that and all you\'ll need afterwards is the client from Dfryer and you\'re good to go

back again .  gonna  run around plane shift etc.  fun for all. been away  at unreal2k4  and a few other games.   so updatey and wipe eh ? . should be cool. i did up date but as the  patch is not finished it says not the correct version alas.  or at least im guessing thats why its saying that .

Yes, the Server is back up, but the Mac Client has not been finished yet

Let me explain: The game is designed for PCs, so when a new client (this one is 3.011) is built, the PC users are able to immediately update when the server is finished updating. Macs use a different code than PCs, so we have to wait for Dfryer (the resident mac guru) to re-write the PC code so it works for the Mac.

He may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to do this, it depends on the new client and how many changes there are.

So, the client will not work on the mac, yet.

Please be patient, Dfryer is doing all this for free[/size][/color]. Athough I am sure he will welcome cash, cheque, money order, paypal, a dual 2.7 ghz power G5 or your souls, I don\'t think this will make him get it done any faster either. Patience.

I\'ve downloaded every one (4 of them), and non of all those will work!
All i get is this message; this version of planeshift wont work on this forum,
so i try to update and if i push the button to start it just closes the window without any progress! All of the downloads i did had the same outcome... I\'ve searched everything (i think) and still can\'t find the right download...
I would realy want some advice please. n00b dfekt!!!

Please read Cha0s\' Guide to running Planeshift on Mac. You have to download his Updater.jar file, copy it to your Planeshift folder and use that to update your client, not the Updater. app in your folder.

This still doesn\'t guarantee that it will work though. The Mac client still has bugs that have to be worked out. You may have to wait for the total 3.011 package to be finished. Cha0s and dfryer are working on it, so please be patient. It\'s a lot of work and they have lives too. Posting all over the forums about it won\'t make it get fixed faster.

Couldn\'t have said it better myself, Kim. I\'m looking for dfryer and we\'ll try to get an updated client together (I don\'t know how to build the dependencies or I\'d do it myself ). dfekt: Read stickies! And now, iLock, I think. Down with clutter!
