Requesting updater files
« on: August 04, 2005, 02:05:35 pm »
Ok... ran the updater... it tried to update itself... and now it crashes on load...    (both GUI and DOS modes)  Seeing as the torrent may be a bit slow, I\'d like to fix this and update the easy way.

If someone who knows vaguely what they\'re doing has a working updater, could they send me a copy?...  :P  Just yank everything in the root PS directory with the word \"update\" in it, zip it up, and send it to me via email.  (my address is in my forum profile, for the time being)

Thanks.

EDIT 1:
To be specific, the files I need are:
updater.exe
psupdater.cfg
updaterconfig.xml

EDIT 2:
Ya know... torrents don\'t work without seeders...
Anyone have those files for me?... please?...

EDIT 3:
I think I figured out how to fix the thing.  A few file access monitorings, some screwy stuff in config files, working directory errors... whatever...   :P  After much idiocy, it\'s now downloading.  :))

EDIT 4:
Seeing as though this is just me talking to myself, feel free to delete the thread.
