Platyna posted this reply on another thread and I thought I\'d post it here in case any of you hadn\'t seen it:
\"...Linux client will be available after short tests made by a closed group of users. I have made client packages for x86 and x86_64. One important notice: It will be first relased without the art, as a 39 megs file, so all the people who
has 3.010 please use its updater to get current art and then just wait a while....\"
So it sounds like the packages are actually built--probably just not tested yet. Hopefully available to us soon!

Those of you who lack the patience and/or technical prowess (like me) to build the client from CVS can at least download the artwork using the updater like Platyna suggests. I\'d recommend commenting out the \"docs\" and \"root\" modules in your updaterconfig.xml file (in your ./planeshift directory). Remember to run updater with the --auto option. The 3.010 graphic updater is still buggy. Takes no time at all with a cable modem.
From what I gather from Platyna\'s message it looks like we\'ll need to download and reinstall the Linux client once it\'s released. Anyone with better info. please let me know!

Peace,
