I will look at these issues later today, don\'t panic. ;-)
Anyway it is a big surprise you went into problems with license window size
since it haven\'t been changed since last relase.

Doesn\'t psclient check the exit status of psclient.bin?

Yep, re-ran the updater, and get the same problem.

You could try compiling from CVS, I think that is working, provided you get the correct code tree.  Until then, we are at the mercy of the devs.

I just downloaded this yesterday, so I\'m not missing too much.  I guess that I could install it on my laptop and play in windows, but I don\'t see too much point in that.  The devs will have it fixed when they have it fixed.

The opening screen on 03.010 looks great though :)

Possible solution...

Try removing or renaming the \"pssound.so\" and \"pssound.csplugin\" files in the main Planeshift directory.

All people who are getting segfaults:

1. Remove from your destination directory EVERYTHING than art
2. Run the UPDATE installer.
3. Run the updater.
4. Remove pssound.* from Planeshift dir.

I am now contacting Talad to remove these files from the updater filelist
because this file is causing problems, it is being constantly replaced and the
right file is in your CS directory. There can be some other files causing
problems similar to flame01.tga but I think we will surely find them.

I\'ve sort of done what you suggested Platyna... I moved the old ~/planeshift dir out the way and made a new empty ~/planeshift directory and moved the /art folder into ~/planeshift.

I ran the installer and updater, removed pssound.*. psclient now starts up but there is no graphics, just text, and loads of \"could not open image file \'...\'\" and \"Not a JPEG file: starts with...\" errors.

For the record, I ran 0.3.010 fine before \"The Great Wipe\".

If you get crashes just after the first sound while starting up, check libpng. I had version 1.2.6rc1, and it crashed Planeshift. Upgrading to 1.2.8 fixed it.

someone in irc mentioned, that all the .csplugin- and .so-files have moved and you should delete them from your /planeshift/-dir. i did so and it works fine. i get some \"Not a JPEG\"-errors, but no severe graphic-errors so far.
