The Item Generator

How long will it be until the item generator is fixed?  Right now every rat drops a sword.  Which accumulates into thousands of tria in very short periods of time, I got 10000 tria in about 10 min or less.  I know there is going to be a \"small wipe\"  but what can be done if people are training their character with this money?  Even if what they have left is taken.. the damage  may already be done.

I know what you mean.  I am seriously hoping they will wipe stats as well as items and trias.  I have 5000 ill-gotten trias that I don\'t want to spend on stats in case they don\'t wipe those, as previously stated.  This is a huge imbalance, and I intend not to take advantage of it in case they do not wipe everything.

I will do the same.  Knowing that it will put us at a huge disadvantage... Unless it is changed soon.

I have ceased killing rats. At first I though the swords were cool, but then I realized so much money so fast, its scary what the \"jocks\" (level-mongers) will do with them. Please dont wipe my stats I got very lucky at character gen and they are nearly perfect for what I want to do. All I\'ve been doing is killing gobbles, and gobbles give legitimate broadswords and hexas. Please donttake Drakes stats *falls to the floor begging* I just want to roleplay and enjoy myself, please dont make us all start over again!

The devs said the next wipe, will be a inventory wipe. But of course they may change their minds.

And Drake, why didn\'t you just write down what you did in character creation?

Just before I got stuck going through to another area, there was a message saying the server was going down so they could do something to the loot from monsters.  Didn\'t get to see the whole message though.

the rats now drop rat tails instead of the swords

i log out at around 7 a.m. EST for 5 mins to read some forums, I go to log back in, it says theserver is down, I wait a minute, it says its up, I log in a kill a rat since it was in my way, it droped a tail instead of a sword.  So balance has somewhat been restored.

Yes, it seems that the little rats no longer have licenses to carry sharp objects... nothing more pointy than their tails.

But on the other hand, the gobbles now sometimes let you shear off an ear to take with you.

yep, no more falchions from rats and thats a very good thing. its stupid making money that easy. but with the new training it seems that the rolls of money and PP have switched round... like 20pp barely shows up as a blue bar on my sword training thing.

Thats because at the moment, the more levels you have in a particular skill, the more you have to train it.  If you have level 7 sword, for example, it takes around 100 PP to go up one level.  Im not sure if its temporary or a new skill system.

its acctually a pretty easy system like here

lvl 1 - 3pp\'s
lvl2 - 6pp\'s
lvl3 - 12pp\'s
lvl4 - 24 pp\'s
lvl5 - 48 pp\'s
etc..

just double the number thats the number of pp\'s for the next lvl.

I dont know what the big deal about it is... everyone is getting the items, and there are only about 10 items in the game...
