PUT ME BACK IN FREAKING OJAVEDA! I DIDN'T EVEN FREAKING DIE!
« on: August 08, 2005, 10:07:21 pm »
ok, i sorta lost my temper.

what happened is that i was killing rats, and the death realm loaded. and i respawn in hydlaa.  ?(

i think you sould respawn where you first started, in my case ojaveda.

that will prevent newbies from spawning in a town they don\'t know.

They must have known Hydlaa well enough to get out and go to Ojaveda.   :P

yep, differnent races have differnent spawns, but you enkis will have to get used to hydlaa some time. i mean its where all the cool kids hang out *points at self*

odd stuff though with the whole DR thing. no chance that you hit unstick a couple of times is there?
<Rux> i wish i could say that narrows it down, but the internet is one freaky place

Most likely the Rogue attacked through the boxes and hit you, I can attack rats on the other side of the boxes without anyone seeing me, its kind of a graphics bug

You only start once. On your next login you continue where you logged out.

Pretty cool that you now have different primary spawn points when you first start the game as another character. Not too shabby at all.
Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.   :P  Xantherus Icer  :P

Yeah, the different spawn points are great for people like me. I.E. people who don\'t realize that there really is more out there and you\'re not just stuck Hydlaa. That leads me to wonder, are there any more cities or areas of that nature?

Hmm, it would be very intresting if any race actually started in the DR though I doubt that would ever happen...

I think it would be be better(at least it would be more realistic) if you spawned where you died. Why should you end up inside some fixed spawn point just because you cheated death? Did someone carry your body to town and drop it at the fountain? Wouldn\'t it make more sense if you just \"woke up\" on the ground where you died?

But then people would not be as afraid of dying, they should have to be careful if they venture far off and have the risk of having to go back all that way if they die, at least until the deathrealm is better.
