get rid of fighting messages

well, if you are fighting, your system box gets flooded with messages. i think this is pretty messy and wont let you read other ones.
my suggestion is that you make the attack rate slower and the damage larger, that way you can keep the messages but you wont get 456378 times \"you try to hit rogue but you miss\" things.

are there any people sharing this opinion?

Go to options, then to the chat box options (down the bottom I think). There you can edit what type of fighting messages appear (I have them all off except for monsters attacking me so I know the damage they are doing).

thank you, i guess it will help whenever i log in again, but my client just crashes at least every 10 minutes, so i wont be online much...

it does help but sometimes its hard to tell whether your about to die or not.. thats wat always happens to me..

why not only show the messages were damage is dealed?
i only hit 1/4 so that would already make a big difference.
i also think it\'s bad to show other people ones.

You can turn off the no damage ones and all the other people ones.
