Great Progress
« on: August 16, 2005, 06:51:47 am »
When I saw this game on a torrent site, I went to the webpage, and it looked familiar, so I look at the programs I had installed, and sure enough, i had the crappiest \"game\" ever made installed,  \"plane shift\".  I dont remember how long ago I attempted to \"play\" this game, but it was nearly impossible.  Now the game is about 100x better in almost every way.  Anyway, I was just stopping by to say great job on the progress, you made a virtualy unplayable game into what im guessing will be one of the most popular MMO\'s out there.(in a few years?)

?( I dont really grasp the intention of this thread but yeah, this game does seem like it makes progress if you dont monitor it for a few months. The leaps and bounds of the updates they have over the years really do change the game completly. Me being with this game since 2002.. Made this forum acc in 03 since i got more into the game. :P
Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.   :P  Xantherus Icer  :P

Basicly this \'person\' is saying that the current release is better than in Molecular Blue where it took 5 minutes to load, and had a very high chance of crashing while loading.

Come on, MB wasn\'t that bad unless you had a really sad computer.  Even my athlon xp 1700+ *underclocked* to an fsb of like 133 mhz with half a gig of ddr 2400 could go without lagging for sometimes hours at a time.

He was probably talking about back in the day of Atomic Blue...   I\'d heard that it was about the same as MB in content (other than inferior art) but the general game engine was much worse...thus making it \'unplayable\'.
I am made from the dust of the stars,
And the oceans flow in my veins.
Here I hide in the heart of the city,
Like a stranger coming out of the rain.

You\'re giving it too much credit.  There was absolutely nothing in AB besides dwarves and falling through the ground.  Not to mention the waiting time to actually get into a game that has no gameplay, you could chat and that\'s about it.

Yeah the last time I saw PS I saw AB.. I though it really had potential but had a LOOOONNNNNGGG way to go lol

I couldn\'t move when I logged in then.. :P I was in this weird room if I remember correctly
Vis vires est haud claustrum ut animus. Power is no bar to the Heart.
Guild Knights will return. When I feel like it.
