I agree with Aztec,  it is a bit bad that all the clones are coming out of the big companies, when they should be making good games.....

But, Aztec, what would your opinion of Square be? thier games are the same in some ways but totally different in others.

Unfortunately, if you\'ve played a number of RPGs, or read a number of fantasy books, you realise that every single one has ideas that others have. There really isn\'t such a thing as a \"unique idea\" anymore. It\'s the few different things that make a game stand out from the crowd. What does PS have going for it? 12 relatively unique races; A good background story; and namely, it\'s free! On top of that, you can\'t really judge how much PS coppies from other games, when the most important parts(combat, magic, tradeskills, etc.) haven\'t even been implemented yet. These could be very blatent copies, or could be very original. We\'ll just have to wait and see how it turns out. =)

Thanks for the support Aduin.  I agree with you.

I don\'t think our races and settings are heretofore unknown to man, but I do think they are fresh and interesting.  It is one of the items (along with the concept art which is also fresh) which attracted me to this project in the first place.
