you\'re jusing jam right?  so wouldn\'t that be jam install?  Either way, no need, don\'t do it.  you just have to run psclient and the related binaries from inside your planeshift directory.

Hi,
I am not using the precompiled packages.

I downloaded the sources from http://planeshift.xpam.de/
and i am compiling this.

I am using jam to make the CEL Space Package. (cel-31.07.05.tar.bz2).

I am not really sure if thats right, but i will see.

Do you know something more as I?

Ok here it comes the first error message by configure planeshift.
He doesn\'t find the SEL Dir.

I did execute jam in the SEL Dir but he doesn\'t copy anything to my System lib Dir\'s i think.

What have i to do?
Where to copy the Sel Dir?

At executing psclient i get the error,
WARNING: could not load plugin \'cel.physicallayer\'

But i doesn\'t get any error at compiling time of cel.

How to get this right?

Another misterious thing i saw was that when i stared psclient in debug mode,
he seems to load files from my system but like i understood i did not installed Crystalspace to my System? Is that right?

How could this be?
Maybe a dirty install of CS before?

you need to follow one of the build guides at laanx.fragnetics.com to the letter.  I don\'t think you should be installing anything anywhere other than in a development directory in your home directory.  OK use the souce you already have, but aside form that, follow a build guide very closely.

However i got it.

when i configure planeshift it says,

markus@feld-bert:/usr/local/games/planeshift$ ./configure --enable-debug --with-libcal3d=/usr/local/games/planeshiftdebs/cal3d
...
checking for cs-config... /usr/local/games/planeshiftdebs/CS/cs-config
checking if Crystal Space version >= 0.99... yes (version 0.99)
...
checking if CEL version >= 0.99... yes (version 0.99)
checking if CEL SDK is usable... yes
checking for CEL static plugins... no
checking for libcal3d... no
...

But i put the --with-libcal3d argument at the end.
What is my error?

Without libcal3d it\'s not very nice. :-(

Another Question.
Is the instruction up-to-date?

See at the date,
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/crystal co CS -D 2005-08-11 00:00:00

Is this not to old?
