what do you make of it... watch the video demonstrations of the car, if you look closely on march 23rd 03 you can see a crane, in the january 03 one you see a rope....... personally if this is the real deal... then we need to stop this, mabye keep it running on alchohol and make that the new gasoline (it would make more sense) but think about it..... how many times has your car broken down??? now take the same scenario and put you 1000 feet in the air.... not pretty huh?

Oh yes, Black_Rose...  It\'s definately very real and has been around for a while now.  Back before the channel previously known as TechTV was brutally slaughtered by the suits at comcast, they had a show called \"Invent This!\" and the Moller Skycar was one of the features...  They had a couple of different ones, but the fact was that the takeoff is just insane.  I believe the description given by the inventor was that it would clean your neighbors yard all the way down the block... .  Just think what it will do to trafic jams...  Also, it\'s really not supposed that complex to drive.

If you\'ll forgive me leji, please allow me to direct you to my first comment.  This isn\'t an internet hoax, although it would be easy to believe it was, due to the poor image quality in the videos...  No, TechTV, before being brutally and mercilessly slaughtered by the greedy... no if I keep up like this the post will be so long noone will read it...

but TTV really did feature the Moller Skycar.  In fact the inventor of the skycar has made himself quite rich inventing things, but I digress...  Not only did Invent This show the Skycar, but it also made appearences on TechLive, a news show on the late TTV, and if I don\'t miss my guess It also showed up on The Screensavers.  TTV didn\'t show hoaxes and lies without at some point saying that it is a hoax or lie, almost invariably in the same show, and as I watched almost religiously until the... no I\'m not going to mention Comcrap again...  took over, and no such thing was said, it was very much true.  That being said, at least at that time it was more or less a work in progress less complete than even our PlaneShift.  The Skycar did work, but it wasn\'t really viable at the time, for various reasons, allthough I would suppose that the problems they have now are an entirely different set of problems, that\'s hardly the point.  The point is it isn\'t an internet hoax.  There, happy?  I\'ve just posted way more than I planned.

its old now! I saw skycar in the middle of the 90 on internet or tv I dot remember.

They arent allowed to fly because of air control rules and it\'s very very expensive (especially the oil...)

That why it remains something to be questioned by... certain people...  If it wasn\'t old they wouldn\'t be as far along as they are now.  Someday it will be a viable solution, otherwise we just wouldn\'t be humans, but for the time being we\'ll be stuck with traffic jams and muscle card... :/
