[OUR GOALS AND BELIEFS]
Sirunie Looseye started this guild with the belief that there must be a guild that anybody can turn to, to go to for help and to be able to trust. He started a mission to create a guild of Knights, with the honor and loyalty that Knights represent, not the weapons or power. He wanted a guild where power has no meaning, only honor and honesty.
The name Guild Knights come from the hope and dream that this guild will not only be a guild that people can turn to, but other Guilds too. Us Guild Knights are meant to serve the world and all the rainbow of guilds and people that populate it. As in \"Knight of the Guilds\", \"Guild of Knights\"; the name means both and all.
To be a Guild Knight is to help where help is needed, to support good causes and to bring even the lowliest farmhand into a person worthy to be King. To be a Guild Knight is to become a person who anyone can trust, anyone can talk to, anyone can look up to, anyone can join.
That is our dream and goal, and may it be upheld.

To summarize:
The largest and most central point of our guild is sharing. We share money, weapons and information, fellowship and help. We also make a point to donate to newblets and help them along.

We are not a mass-recruiting guild, we are a guild that helps newblets and makes them great. Already we have at least 5 members that were only brand new players a few weeks ago who are now great warriors!

All Guild Knights must be courteous and polite, as well as sharing. New members will be given tools of the trade at our discretion and help and support, and in return we ask them to help new members themselves later when they are strong. Members are strongly encouraged to talk in guildchat as there are not many other ways to monitor behaivior.

We have a great number of guild activities and quests, and all memebrs are encouraged to join them. We often group up as a guild and go monster hunting and to the arena. And sometimes, although rarely, there are guild wars that we enter.


We have a website, although it is quite.. haphazard and useless. It is only temporary; the website is in production under 3 professional web designers in our guild

I would suggest that this is a bad idea. I know that you are just beginning, but some sort of recruitment policy should be thought out. Have guidelines as to what kind of members you are looking for, and make sure that those who have the power to invite, have the right judgment to invite the right people. What is your alignment? Good, as I originally assumed, or neutral?

May I ask how this happens? Do you wage war on triffle matters, or does another guild really have to go against your belief system to bring a war? Also, Knights brings about thoughts of defending something, in my mind. Do you protect anything, besides members of the guild? Are you for hire by others? Where do your loyalties lay outside the guild?

I mean no disrespect, but I was recently issued a blind invite to your guild.  When i asked the guy how he knew I was the right kind of person, he just ran off.  We all know that blind recruting is not against the rules, but it is annoying and is frowned upon, for good reason.  If you don\'t beleive in mass recruiting, (for which I salute you) then you need to have a talk with some of your ranks.

Aside from that necessary nastiness, I wish your guild good luck.

Well actually we are not really just beginning, the recruitment thing is the way sirunie wants it.  :rolleyes:  I personally think at least the Novices should not be able to invite, but meh.. We will see.
And our memebers are NOT supposed to blind invite, so that answers your thing Ralas. I\'ll check it out..

As I said, it rarely happens. The only war I know about is that publicized one with the Chosen Few.. I believe that was because of Noxide being incredibly rude and challenging our new memebrs or something, some large dispute. So it was anger or something along that line. But It lasted for only a number of minutes (I think; I had to leave)

The Guild Knights are a fun and helpful guild for new players.  If you\'re an older player who wants to help others, joining Guild Knights is a good way to accomplish your goals.  That\'s really all there is to it.

the problem with this guild is that you start a guild war and then half your members start crying that people kill them...

for to be a real guild you need to have some discussion about these matters that affect the whole guild, also it sounds like mass promotion blah blah thing.

No, this is the kind of guild that has no alignment. Because it\'s not a roleplay guild. Sharing is not a goal, even if it\'s a good belief, when properly backed up with some kind of in character explanation.

If it\'s your objective to interact with roleplaying guilds, it\'s my opinion you become one yourself.
However, if you play the game with the purpose of a powerleveler, then your guild is just perfect.

I really think you should start reading other guild threads on this forum.  That should help some.  There are some things that your opening post is just missing... like a history and it could be made more coherent.  Also no need to put that part \"Not anti DC\".  Not very many  people like them here anyway .  And I would think about changing your guild name.  Basically because it has the word Guild in it.  I guess that is just personal preference... to me it just sounds weird.  Hmm.. anything else???  Ahh.. yeah, your ranks are also a bit weird.  I know they are not exactly the same but your botton three classes. Novice, Apprentice and Page, are quite similar in meaning especially Page and Apprentice.

Actually Neryam is correct.  Noxide is very rude.  he was rude with me ingame telling me how I should not be an advisor... I eventually had to put him on my ignore list because he was treating me as if I was the noob in the situation.  I personally am still upset about it.  So, I assume what Neryam says is correct about him..

I have noticed he is actually only mean to members of Guild Knights.... I have never seen him be mean to anyone else, though I\'m sure it has happened, but he is a nice guy, and he helps noobs like other people do... I think that if we both just leave each other alone, we will be fine.... I am on no one\'s side, I would just rather no one got pissy at someone else for god knows what reasons...

An that was a long time ago... an you know the reason i said that, remember watching..
