Prerequisite stats for weapons

Why is it that a shortsword that does 8 damage requires a strength in excess of 130?! (the level i\'ve just trained to) and my iron battle axe that does 10 damage I have no problem using. Whats happening?

I do like the fact that trainers only have a finite level they can train, i now have to go to the other city to train both my axe and strength up , a very nice touch

Indeed, the balance is lost. That\'s why they said that thing about inventory wiping.
Also, there has been suggested to inform players about the requirements to handle a weapon, instead of having to find out for themselves. I think currently the weapon spectrum is a little messed up, since lots of different items have been introduced. They provide variety, but also unbalance.
Those balance issues are supposed to be addressed, so, no need to worry.

good i am glad to hear that i have a dark claymore of the hammer that i cant use yet becuae i have no idea what endurance lvl i need to be to use it lol and at this point its a guessing game raise endurance try  it
