I think a large part of it is a general shift of people towards expecting everyone else to do the footwork for them. People actually get ticked off when they have to put forth effort these days so much so that it even affects discussions on video games!

Maybe instead of doing their work for them, posts that are *this* redundant should just be ignored and not answered at all.  Would that send the right message?  I think it would certainly be the punishment fitting the crime.

It\'s up to the community to do that if they want though.  I\'m not going to enforce it by modding.

yes your very right it is free, but if i save up money for about a year i\'ll have more than enough money to buy the game and also have another year or so to play the game before PS actually releases.

True Rathma but buying the game isn\'t the end of the money spending. Every expansion costs another $30 a pop plus many of these games have subscription fees.

I\'ve paid for Everquest and many expansions and enjoyed the game quite a bit but I came looking for Planeshift, or something like it, for a reason. It\'s not only the fact that PS is free that makes it attractive, but the community as well.
