Easy Question

I was just thinking about what people wanted out of a guild. Especialy in these early stages to PS development. \'cause atm you con\'t realy want protection from other higher level guild members. Anyway, i was just wondering?
I set up Mirth Just becaues i thought it would be a fun way of creating a sub community in the PS World, and something to spend some of my free time doing :)

I started mine early because I simply wanted a head start. so i would already have some members when the game actually did come out.

in a guild, i want a sense of community, purpose, leadership, (to some extent) fun, coordination, teamwork, etc. basically, i want a team. something i can stand for and with and something that will stand for and with me.

To me most guilds are boring, if you want to talk with someone, talk with your friends in-game or whatever....guilds that interest me owuld have to be people who stand by something and want to get things done, not just talk on a messageboard or yell at other guilds, that stuff puts me to sleep

I\'ve never gone in for the guild scene really, I would like to though, especially as I think guilds will be an important feature eventually. I don\'t think I would join one this early, but come game time I\'m sure there will be one that is right for me :)

I would want a guild to be made up of friends and people I get along with, with a leader who I respect and trust.
Mine and the guilds ideals and beliefs would be near enough the same.
Well organised and able to successfully complete it\'s goals.
The guild would have to be very active and a stable, consistent presence in the world.
Of a managable size - i.e. not so big that you haven\'t a clue who most of your fellow members are.
I suppose a good, clear, well organised, up-to-date web site is a must too - especially at this stage where a web site is all a guild really has.

lol Kada, your description sounds exactly like my Guild.
I have a description of My guild typed up, but its on another computer. Ill post it in this forum later
