Female Klyros is absolutely awsome! :D The Enkidukai is beautiful as always ;) The Ynnwn is great! :D

It would be great if every race had their own sort of traditional dress, jewelry, or way they groom their hair. That moves into culture building, which I find particulary interesting.

I think they actually do... The problem is not all race-cities are implemented so we can\'t really tell their architecture, traditions and stuff...
It\'s very boring when the devs just put everything written.. I hate that :P
It would be better if players could write stuff about whatever they wanted *sigh* *hopes the devs ever read this*
If I find anything concerning traditions and stuff about races be ready to catch them because I\'ll throw it imediatly ;)

But curse me, shouldn\'t the Hammerweilder be holding the hammer?

All the images are great. The style suites the images well. It\'s not as easy as it looks to create the comic feel, a specially when you\'re doing the pencils, inking and colors yourself. Excellent stuff, looking forward to seeing more.

Hello Kim!

Very beautiful fan art and nice initiative. You\'ve certainly done the background research well, especially if this is the first time you\'re drawing PS races. Not only have you pictured the physical appearance, but also the mental side, personality.

I especially like the colouring on Nolthrir, Enkidukai and Klyros. The little details also caught my eye; Nolthrir gills, Ynnwn not using gold jewelry...

The Klyros head crest orientation is the only thing that you may want to note. In PS it runs from the (top)end of the spine to forehead. Now it makes the miss Klyros look a bit \"draconic\" and less \"fishy\".

All in all, admirable work and adorable girls. :)

*Cherppow thinks Xacha lady looks very sweet, and gives her a smile before going on with his work.*

Thanks,

Speaking of these: I have always wondered where the Klyros\' gills are. Personally, I\'d have put them beneath the big scales on their belly, which would enable them to be protected from dust when not in water. Another option is to have them at the throat. Having them where they are located at the Nolthrir doesn\'t look feasible to me, because there are the bones of the jaws, and also it would mean that the water has to be pumped through the throat to reach the actual gills, because the head doesn\'t provide room for them.

I think gills will take up a similar space as do lungs, so I imagine a shared system, in which gills can function in air by
1) keeping the gills themselves wet
2) filtering the air through the nose, possibly even piping the air through a little reservoir of water that circulates in the gills. A small quantity of water may suffice, which would not add to weight significantly.

This would apply to all races with gilled and pulmonary respiration, but not the Kran, for their different though as of yet unrevealed breathing apparatus.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Sorry I haven\'t had time for anything new lately.

More like a fish\'s dorsal fins then? In a straight line down to the spine?

Both great ideas that I\'m going to have to keep in mind for future artwork, along with all the other notes. The anatomy of the gilled creatures is a bit tricky to work out, but I like how you\'re thinking it out Seytra. The neck area is more plausible, but the side positioning may work best for both Nolthrir and Klyros (I wasn\'t even aware they had gills until now!). It\'s little stuff like this that can easily slip my mind and I\'m glad you guys can catch it. Thank you!

Indeed. While the race picture from the settings page doesn\'t clearly show it, whereas the model does.

You\'re welcome. :) Strictly, the race description only says \"Breath underwater\" for the Klyros, but it does so also for the Nolthrir, which is why I figure that they\'ll use a similar system as the Nolthrir, which are described to have \"both gilled and pulmonary respiration\" in the Physical Traits section. Kran, OTOH and as I said, are an entirely different matter. :)

Edit: changed image to link.

Ive just brought Poser 6 and have started the huge task of recreating my charater.

These are of course early stages... and only the head is avalibe for example.  She needs longer hair at the back and im not sure about the exact colour of her skin, lips and eyes.

Pssst... Why is this here? :)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.
