Kiern, my goal is to prevent responses and therefore limit what he\'s doing. If people keep responding, it\'ll just keep going. If people realize what he\'s doing (intentional or not), then perhaps they can stop it.

Hmm, and so you started a thread about it.  Personally I dont think he\'s a troll, just ignorant maybe.  Though its impossible to know for sure.  Perhaps the better option would have been to message a mod and get them to delete his posts / give him a ban / warning?  Or maybe you already did that.  Either way, I dont see how making a thread about it will do much more good than bad.  Unless it simply concentrates all the spam in one spot...

I mean people who use lol as their everyday speech, he says lol 3 times in one post, and theres nothing to laugh about, people from runescape always say lol in every...whatever it is they use, a very small chat box or something...When I played it for about 2 monthes, I walk around and see the message lol out of 28/31 people...:P

You do not know anything about roleplaying, what you are doing is godmoding, which makes your fantasy character invincible, but in one strike I can easily send your character to hell and back :P

i feel i must say that there is nothing wrong with runescape. it is an attractive game with many options. i myself played it for a long time before planeshift. i also return to it every now and again because i have friends who play it. granted, i don\'t participate anymore in the levelling, instead i just use the chat. (for example, a friend of mine moved away recently to Germany. i haven no contact with him other than runescape chat)

HOWEVER, if you are into RP and not simply levelling up, it is NOT a game you would enjoy. therefore, there really does not need to be any RS bashing. It is a game for the PLers, and planeshift is a game for the RPers. I\'m sure we wouldn\'t like it if they talked about us in a degrading way.

and i apologize for any RS bashing i have done in the past, as well. i\'ve come to realize that though i might not find the game attractive and fun anymore, it still is a good game (for some people). i\'m not going to go around saying it\'s aweful when, for people who would rather PL, it is a wonderful game.

also, there is no need for name calling or insulting. if you have a problem with Cooldewd, Chaos, i suggest you discuss it with him in private. if he is breaking forum rules, let the admins know, or whoever enforces the rules. like Kiern said, a thread about him is unneccessary.
